About PBJ Eatery:
A Culinary Journey Rooted in Home Comforts - Proudly 100% Canadian!
Welcome to PBJ Eatery,
a culinary haven on wheels! Since spring 2023, our 24-foot food trailer has been serving up a symphony of flavours, crafted with love and precision.
Our Story:
As the sole proprietor of PBJ Eatery, my name is Pam, and my journey began with a profound love for food—a passion nurtured with unwavering family support. Our custom-built trailer, a labor of love in Porter's Lake, symbolizes months of dedication, resulting in a culinary sanctuary on wheels.
The Meaning Behind the Name:
PBJ isn't just initials; they're a heartfelt homage. "P" stands for Pam, creator of our iconic Deep Fried PBJ Sandwich. "B" honours my mother, Betty, a guiding force reflected in our signature Betty Burger. "J" pays tribute to my late father, Junior, inspiring every dish with memories of his favourite Junior Mints and Mint Aero bars.

Our Culinary Philosophy:
At PBJ Eatery, our joy lies in creating and serving homemade dishes that resonate across Nova Scotia. From locals on the Eastern Shore to diverse events such as music festivals, private events, sports tournaments, cooperate lunches, breweries, etc. our trailer—courtesy of Charlotte's Hauling, another family-owned business—brings a touch of home wherever it goes.
Local, Fresh, and Inclusive:
We pride ourselves on sourcing ingredients made in Canada, from local businesses, and our own garden whenever possible. Our commitment extends to providing Gluten-Free and Vegetarian options, ensuring everyone can savor the experience.
Looking to the Future:
The journey doesn't end here. PBJ Eatery envisions expanding services to include catering, weddings, and other special events. We look forward to discussing how we can add a dash of home-style warmth to your next occasion.
Join us on this culinary adventure—where every bite is a taste of home, crafted with care, and shared with love.
